The same keeper as a headless daemon for Linux and macOS: a VPS, a home server or a NAS with Node.js 18+. Managed from the terminal, runs under systemd, updates itself.

prizrak-drivectl auto off to disable). Other commands: stores, nodes, log, sharing on|off, update, install.Everything is done with prizrak-drivectl — a text client that talks to the daemon over a local socket. Without arguments it opens an interactive menu (status, admin name, disks, nodes, log, updates, sharing pause); with arguments it runs one command and exits, so it works in scripts. Storage numbers (<n>) are the positions from stores.

~/.prizrak-drive or --data) holds config.json (settings and the drive's Ed25519 identity — back it up: a new key means a new disk), the built-in store store/, control.sock and daemon.pid. Chunks of disks you added live in prizrak-node-data/ inside the chosen path. Updates are downloaded as a signed manifest (the maintainer's Ed25519 key), the archive's SHA-256 is verified, and the application files are replaced without touching the data; under systemd the daemon restarts itself.
