Bring up a homeserver on your own domain — and become part of the federation. Your users, your infrastructure, no single center. The server sees only encrypted envelopes.
Your users talk to users of any other Prizrak server right away. Discovery via /.well-known, like email.
The server stores and forwards only sealed envelopes. The content is out of reach even for you as the owner.
A built-in relay and rendezvous (your own STUN) for voice and video — with NAT traversal, wrapped in the stealth transport.
If the direct path is blocked, the server automatically delivers through hidden nodes. Lists of nodes and servers propagate through the network — with no static configs.
You need a server with Node.js and a domain pointed at its IP. From there, the deploy script does the rest.
# 1. unpack the release and install dependencies unzip prizrak-server.zip && cd prizrak-server npm install --omit=dev # 2. set your domain in the config and start ./deploy/prizrak-deploy.sh start # the server brings up the homeserver, call relay and rendezvous # 3. check discovery curl https://YOUR-DOMAIN/.well-known/prizrak/server
Prizrak is designed for a hostile network. Even when direct paths between servers are cut, delivery continues.
Behind a stealth/Reality front, the server looks like an ordinary website. To active probing it serves a decoy page.
Direct federation didn't get through — the envelope travels via the hidden-node network. Transparently, with no operator intervention.
Keys and addresses of other servers and nodes arrive over the network itself and via a signed bootstrap across several channels — nothing to block with a single domain.
Live lists of nodes and servers are cached to disk. Even the loss of entry points doesn't cut the server off from the network.
